Sarah Halcott

Sarah Halcott owns and operates Amused Studios in Fruitland with her husband Robert Johnson, where her creations take form.  She found pottery in college and spent a decade working at Salisbury University as a studio tech learning as much as she could while she was there.  She started teaching pottery at AI&G after a few classes at Salisbury.  She currently teaches at the Art League of OC and her own pottery Amused Studios.
    Opening her own public studio and creating a dedicated space for art has invigorated her creative spirit, she is making work unlike anything she has made before.  She is branching out to be more playful focus on the how the clay moves and interacts with glaze.
