Teacher lead workshops will be paid and there will be a sign up either ahead of time or when people show up they can sign up and wait until the next workshop is ready.

The classes with instruction will vary based on the teachers project. With 1/2 hour or one hour time slots, during the teachers overall time which can be up to 3 hours long.  People waiting will have to wander the gallery while waiting thus increasing the flow of traffic to other parts of the Gallery.

Fees will be split 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 - Teacher, Guild, ALOC
If an instructor wants to not take money they can donate their share to the guild.

Workshops for firing- horse hair and raku will be held leading up to the event.  Tis should increase the excitement and amount of people outside for the event. Each class will be 3 classes long leading up to the event and will be held at and run through the ALOC

ALOC offered to supply the clay for the event.

Change date to first weekend to coincide with first Friday. This is the time when the most people are in the gallery.

There is an annual event the run the Saturday of that weekend which is over by early so we would start at 1 maybe?

Clay guild potentially helping with Empty bowl project- more professional looking bowls - along with a build your own and take yours home- ask Jeff Stickle how the empty bowls goes at RAL.

Getting clay suppliers involved? Bmore Clayworks, AMACO, High Water Clay.

Potters attraction? How could we get more potters to go out of their way to get to the event. Probably need to wait a couple of years to let the event grow. However if we could get Clay companies coming and professionals showing up, entering work into a ceramics show or signing up to sell their work in booths for a market place etc.. They could then get Hotel discounted accommodations and the like involved to grow.

Advertising in ceramics magazines and groups

No weekend market place this coming year. Current roster stretched to thin showing work in Studio E to set up for a market place as well.

Possibly live music in the Gallery Space
Chair yoga- before live music?

Email a flyer for the clay guild- direct to guilds website. Have a broacher about the Guild encouraging membership.

Have silent auction piece again

They think selling tee shirts for the event could be profitable.

ALOC has offered for the guild to use their space for meetings.
