Extruder Workshop with Wes Stack
Wes Stack will be giving demonstrations on creating ceramic art with extruded clay. He will talk about types of clay that work best. The best tools to use. What types of extruders there are. How to add a box to expand the size of the work. He will also discuss creating your own dies from plastic cutting boards and plywood.
We will seperate into groups and practice creating small works with the extruder. Learn how to attach extruded and thrown or handbuilt parts together. And how to add surface texture and decoration. Look forward to learning how to extrude unique pieces of your own.
The workshop was held at the Rehoboth Art League. On Saturday February 1st, 2014 from 10am - 3 or 4pm. With a lunch break at 1pm when we will hold the guild meeting.
