Nicki Jacobs

Although I was an art major in college and received my MBA in arts management, I didn’t touch clay, and fall in love with it, until I began classes at Hinckley Pottery Studio in Washington, DC. That started 30 years ago, and I have worked with clay ever since. I’m a functional potter, and seek to share my work – whether in exhibits, craft sale events, as gifts, or donations – because it makes people happy. I’m also interested in color, and how that works with specific pieces. I seek to be around other potters and artists in a community-studio structure, who share their knowledge and camaraderie.
