2022: Inspired by Nature... community art
The Clay Guild worked together to build this stacked art project, we had a workshop where each member made a different piece of the puzzle for this community made art installation. The piece can be viewed in person any time during the month of June while it sits in the garden at The Art League of Ocean City overlooking the bay. #OCMD

Ernest Satchell, treasurer for the Clay Guild and retired UMES art teacher has been making pottery for more than 60 years and shows collaring. Marie Cavallero a retired Ceramics teacher from SU and President of CCART talks about centering. Robert Johnson, co-owner of Amused Studios, Clay Guild President, Art League of Ocean city- Pottery Studio Manager and teacher shows a naked Raku firing technique.
